A more advanced form of spamming called involving unsolicited emails appearing to come from trusted sources. For example, someone who is phishing will send users mails that appear to be from banks, shopping sites and payment services. The spammers will point out to the user the urgency needed for the users to take toward their account to coheres them to open the email. Phishing often involves ways for the spammers to steal the identity of the user through the user entering information such as their credit card or social security number.
